Devata Collection, Fashion Short Film

The Universe in Human Form began production in 2018 and was completed in 2020, just before the COVID-19 pandemic.

Created alongside my debut collection, the film was inspired by depictions of women across cultures and mythology, and by the women who have shaped my own life. Each piece featured in the film was designed, hand-crafted, and embroidered by me, with its own connection to the women and stories that inspired the collection.

At its heart, The Universe in Human Form is a love letter to womanhood and to the idea that there is something vast, powerful, and almost cosmic within the human experience.

It is an homage to the women in my life: past, present, and future.
